About Queen Beetle
The new high-speed ship “Queen Beetle,” completed in November 2020, is the world’s first 80-meter class trimaran (trimaran), with a capacity of 502 seats, 2.6 times that of the conventional Beetle, and an overall length of 83.5 meters, connecting Fukuoka and Busan in 3 hours and 40 minutes.
Designed by Eiji Mitooka, who has worked on many sightseeing trains such as “Nanatsuboshi in Kyushu” and “Aru Train,” the beautiful red hull expresses “dreams, romance, and passion” and has a strong presence.
The first floor has standard class seats, a common lounge, and a kids’ space. The second floor has business class seats, a duty-free store, and a kiosk, and the third floor has an observation deck where passengers can enjoy the breeze and view of the ocean.
Seatbelts are not required while on board, and passengers are free to roam around the ship and have a good time.

Tips
I was looking forward to seeing the beautiful red hull and taking lots of pictures before the ship left port. After leaving the port, the cruise was rather calm and we enjoyed the scenery over draft beer and sandwiches. I thought we would be a little closer to the payday dome or something, but we cruised away from it.
It was a good memory!
