About Yokohama Anpanman Children’s Museum
Yokohama Anpanman Children’s Museum & Mall is a popular theme park that combines a shopping mall with a hands-on museum where the world of Anpanman unfolds.
It is a place where children’s dreams of meeting Anpanman come true. The facility consists of a museum floor (admission charged) where you can enjoy the Anpanman world to the fullest, and a store and food restaurant floor (free admission) where you can enjoy cute Anpanman goods and delicious food.
How to get there
3 minutes walk from “Shin-Takashima” station on Minatomirai line
10 minutes walk from “Yokohama Station” East Exit or 13 minutes walk from Kita East Exit A
From Haneda Airport, take the Keikyu train to Yokohama Station *From Shin-Yokohama Station, take the Yokohama Municipal Subway to Yokohama Station or Takashimacho Station
Tips
We went for the first time on a weekday during the summer holidays.
It was a weekday during the summer vacation, so it was not crowded, we saw two shows, and the kids had a great time at the various corners. We spent half a day there, soaked in sweat.
The food court was crowded even on a weekday, but we got some lovely bread from a bakery near the entrance.
There is an area where you can play in the water, so it is good to have a change of clothes.
I really recommend this place if your kids are still young.
