About
Showa-no-mori is one of the largest comprehensive parks in Chiba Prefecture. The west side of the park is connected to the Shimofusa Plateau, which is 60 to 90 meters above sea level, and to the east side, the Kujukuri Plain and the Shimofusa Plateau.
How to get there
5 minutes from JR Doke Station (Take Chiba Chuo Bus bound for “Brand New Mall”, get off at “Showa no Mori Nishi”, and walk 5 minutes. Or, get off at Asumigaoka Higashi 4-chome (in front of Hoki Art Museum) and walk 3 minutes.)

Tips
It is a very large park!
There is nothing around, so you should bring your own lunch.
There is a lot of athletic equipment and the kids seemed to have a lot of fun!
