About Rokko Cable
The Rokko Cable, which connects Mt. Rokko and downtown Kobe, is a historic cable car that opened in 1932.
The Rokko Cable runs approximately 1.7 km from Rokko Cable Shimo Station to Rokko Sanjo Station, connecting the two stations in about 10 minutes.
At the Rokko Sanjo Station, there is the Tenran-dai (Rokko Mountain Top Observation Deck) where you can enjoy the view from Mt. Rokko, and at night you can see the 10 million dollar night view.
How to get there
Rokko Cable Station can be reached by Kobe City Bus from Hankyu, JR, and Hanshin Railway stations.
Rokko Cable-shita Station is right in front of the Kobe City Bus stop.

Tips
Drive up Mt. Rokko and go up to the rooftop of the Rokko Cable for a spectacular night view. The night view is by far more extensive than other night view spots.
There is no parking lot in the vicinity, so I only passed by the front, but I saw many hikers walking between here and Maya Mountain. Also, there were many people passing by on bicycles.
