Tips
The carbonated hot spring is quite interesting, a little less than the mineral feeling of Kanoyu, but it’s not bad to experience, especially if you go out and have a bottle of cold carbonated soft drink.
Arima Onsen’s Chinyu, which is equally famous with Kinoyu, is 100 yen cheaper than Kinoyu, and the two are more than 100 meters apart, so you can buy a combined ticket. As one of the three most famous springs in Japan, there is a strong historical atmosphere of hot spring culture in the neighborhood, with shrines, statues and memorial plaques everywhere.
