Nusamai Bridge spans the Kushiro River in Kushiro City, Hokkaido. The name “Nusamai” is derived from the Ainu word “nusa-o-mai” (nusa-o-mai, “the place where the place is”).
Kushiro Fisherman’s Wharf MOO, a waterfront development in Kushiro City, is adjacent to the area. Nusamai Rotary is a rotary intersection and is connected to Hokkaido Highway No. 25 Kushiro Port Line and Hokkaido Highway No. 113 Kushiro Ring Route. However, it is not a roundabout and does not give priority to the ring road. From the Shidemai Rotary, walk up the Izumizaka slope to the Nusamai Park entrance, where you can see the Nusamai BridgeBridge and Kushiro Port.

Conclusion
I was in Kushiro Marsh and couldn’t see the sunset from the Nusamai Bridge, but the night view alone was beautiful enough to make it worth the trip!
If you visit Kushiro, why don’t you go and see the illuminated night view of the Nusamai Bridge?
The night view of the Nusamai Bridge illuminated after the sun goes down is also most wonderful.
