About Yasuragi-no-Mori Asahi Pass Observation Park

Located along the Tsukuba Purple Line, this park has been selected as one of the 100 best sightseeing spots in Ibaraki. From the observatory, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the Kanto Plain, and on clear days, Mount Fuji and the Shinjuku subcenter can be seen in the distance. Fuji and the Shinjuku subcenter can be seen in the distance on clear days. Sky sports are also popular, and colorful paragliders can be seen floating leisurely in the sky. They offer a panoramic view of Kasumigaura, Tsuchiura City, and Ishioka City nearby, as well as the buildings of Shinjuku and Mt. Fuji (depending on the weather).
