About Okinawa World
A sightseeing facility where visitors can experience Okinawa’s nature, performing arts, and culture in its entirety. Visitors can enjoy the “Gyokusendo,” a limestone cave said to have been formed from coral reefs about 300,000 years ago, the “Ryukyu Kingdom Castle Town,” with its beautiful townscape designated as a national tangible cultural property, various craft experiences, the “Habu Natural History Park” featuring the poisonous snakes that live in Okinawa, and the “Tropical Fruit Garden,” with 450 tropical orchards of 100 varieties. Super Eisa,” a folkloric performing art full of charm, is performed daily.

Tips
I went to Okinawa World, which is only one bus ride away, as a place that can be reached within an hour from Naha on a solo trip.
Since I planned to eat lunch in the facility and also planned to experience other things and buy sweets, I booked a course that included a 2,400 yen trip ticket, which I thought was a much better deal.
The cave was cool in the summer when I was here before, but today, when the temperature was 18 degrees Celsius, it was muggy and hot.
I heard that the temperature inside the cave is a constant 21 degrees Celsius year round. The humidity is also very high. I was sweating.
It was a little crowded on Sunday, but everyone was going so fast that I was left alone and a little scared.
I was a little scared because I was left alone.
The kingdom is a nice Ryukyu village. You can experience all kinds of things.
We could also visit the fruit park and watch the eisa. I heard that you are not allowed to take pictures of eisa.
Still, it was quite fun.
I think it is possible to visit each building efficiently because you can go through the limestone caves of Gyokusendo to the innermost part of the facility and then go back to the entrance on the ground level.
Personally, I enjoyed the Gyokusendo Cave, which was much larger than expected (it usually takes more than 30 minutes), the Eisa show, the Habu & Mongoose show, and the Habu Museum.
If you want to experience and see the Okinawan way of life, I highly recommend these facilities!
