About Natural Spa Naniwanoyu
Natural Hot Spring Naniwa-no-Yu is located one stop from the Umeda area in the Osaka Kita area, about eight minutes’ walk from Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Arcade, known as the longest shopping arcade in Japan.
Natural Hot Spring Naniwa-no-Yu is located on the roof of a commercial building that houses a pachinko parlour and a gourmet restaurant, which is a somewhat unusual location for a super public bath, but it can also be reached by bus or taxi from JR Osaka Station, making it a popular choice for travellers.
Despite its location in the middle of the city, the attraction of Natural Onsen Naniwa no Yu is that you can enjoy natural hot spring water that comes from 659 m below ground, and also enjoy a bath with the spring water flowing freely from the source. The spring is a ‘sodium chloride-hydrogencarbonate spring’. It softens the stratum corneum of the skin and emulsifies secretions, making it a high-quality hot spring commonly known as ‘beauty’s hot spring’ and popular with women.
How to get there
Tenjinbashisuji Rokuchome Station on the municipal underground Sakaisuji and Tanimachi lines / Hankyu Senri line, 8-minute walk north from Exit 5.

Tips
From Tenjinbashisuji Rokuchome Station, go northeast. Go for a while past Tenroku Onsen and turn right on a wide street. It is located on the 8th floor of an amusement complex centred on a pachinko parlour.
The indoor bath was a main bathtub, a jet system, a 84 °C sauna, a water bath with a hackberry filling, and a carbonic acid spring was 37 °C, the carbonic acid was strong, and the smell of disinfection was normal. The amenity was a VERT 3-piece set of La Anjelag.
The open-air baths are a lying bath, a sitting bath and a rock bath of 42 °C with a little disinfectant odour. There were three jar baths, and the souce-of-spring water was about 39 °C. It had a good fragrance. The smoothness was also firm.
