About Noboribetsu Bear Farm
Noboribetsu Bear Farm is located in the hot spring town, there are signs very easy to find. To take the cable car, you have to go up a small hill, which is fine in summer, but in winter it’s really super slippery, and it’s easy to fall down when you pull the handrail accidentally.
Then is the cable car center, to take the red small cable car to the mountain is the bear ranch. Noboribetsu Bear Farm is divided into the first ranch and the second ranch, the first ranch seems to be older bears, a lazy look, food thrown to the mouth to eat, throw farther away, then simply do not bother to walk over.

Bear cookies and bear cookies are sold for 100 yen a bag. There are also aboriginal houses on the bear ranch, which are well preserved and have a sense of history. There is also a bear show, you can go in and watch it at the time, and the announcement will be made.
There is also an observation deck at the bear farm, which is very beautiful, and you can see Seoul, Taiwan, and Tokyo with the telescope. I felt that the ticket price was a bit expensive, but after going up there, I think it’s worth the ticket price.
Bear Museum, unfortunately, you can’t read Japanese, but you can bring your children here for fun and education.
Bear Ranch is at the top of Sifang Ridge, you need to take the cable car.
The bears are super cute, super smart, and the top of the mountain also saw the snowy scenery of the stunning Lake Kudoraku! It is said that this place is also one of the locations of the hot anime “Your Name” by Makoto Shinkai, no wonder some scenes from this anime came to our mind at the first sight of this volcanic lake. Very beautiful, like a bowl of milk.
On a good day the view is extremely open and you can see the Pacific Ocean. Unfortunately, it started snowing after we got up the mountain, the view was not good, the distant peaks were hidden, and the Pacific Ocean was hidden behind a curtain of snow.
The vending machine next to the ranch seems to be selling for 150 yen a pack, but only 100 at the manual window, which is only 30 meters away.
These bears are really too lazy to be lazy! A little bit of feeding accuracy is not enough, not even with to shave over to eat! Instead, they beckoned us to feed one more! Seems to be mocking us: throw a little more accurate ah feed! Pitching is not allowed I am still too lazy to eat it!
