Nanta has exploded in popularity since its first performance, and has earned the highest acclaim for its first international debut on stage, a monstrous piece of super-duper entertainment.
In 2004, it became the first Asian production to perform on Broadway in New York, and to date, it has been the most-watched show in Korea’s history.
It has been the most attended show in the history of Korean theater, attracting more than 750,000 foreign visitors annually, and was selected by the Korea Tourism Organization as one of the “Top 10 Places to See in Seoul. In June 2009, it received the “Seoul City Best Program Award,” making it one of Korea’s most popular tourist attractions.

Tips
I have traveled to Seoul countless times, but have never been able to see the show due to timing conflicts. This time my wish to see it once came true.
It was so wonderful that I regretted not having seen it before.
The location was easy to find in the center of Myeongdong.
It is a small theater, so it was easy to see from any seat. This time we were seated on the second floor, but I thought we would have enjoyed the show even more if we had been seated on the first floor, as many things flew at us during the performance and some people were lifted up to the stage. Next time, I would definitely like to sit on the first floor for a more realistic experience.
The performance did not bore me from the beginning to the end, and the 90 minutes went by in a flash. I laughed so hard that I had to hold my stomach, and it was a good stress reliever. The knife work was brilliant and powerful and drew me in.
I heard that each team has a different impression, so I definitely want to go see the show again when I visit Seoul.
