About IKEA Shinmisato
IKEA Shinmisato, the fifth IKEA store in Japan, opened in Misato City, Saitama Prefecture.
The store will feature tatami room sets and home sets, in response to the many needs for “Japanese-style” rooms. In addition, there is an “IKEA Restaurant” where you can enjoy Swedish cuisine, a “Swedish Food Market” selling Swedish ingredients, and a “Småland” free temporary child care center. This is a facility where families can enjoy themselves all day long.
It is conveniently located just an 8-minute walk from Shinmisato Station on the JR Musashino Line. Following the already popular Funabashi (Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture) and Kohoku (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), this will surely be a spot that attracts attention from the entire Tokyo metropolitan area.
IKEA Shinmisato is located next to Lalaport, right next to Shinmisato station.
You can see the “blue and yellow” sign if you go out to the Skywalk.
It is not connected to the Skywalk, so you have to go to the ground level and walk across the pedestrian crossing.
It has a total floor area of 84,000 square meters, including a two-story retail building and a 2,200-car multi-story parking garage.
The second floor is a showroom.
It is quite spacious.
There was a restaurant at the exit.
Small items are sold on the first floor.
You can buy 80 yen ice cream and cheap drinks at the exit on the first floor.
