About Okinawa Children’s Country
Learn while having fun! You can experience it! Okinawa Kodomo no Kuni is a zoo and wonder museum complex experience facility located in the central part of Okinawa’s southern island.
At the zoo, which exhibits about 150 species of animals, visitors can encounter wild animals from Japan and around the world, including wild animals from the Ryukyu Arc and native domestic animals that can only be found here in the world.
The Wonder Museum, a children’s museum, offers various workshops in addition to a variety of permanent exhibits.
How to get there
From Naha Airport: approx. 50 min. by car (open road)
Okinawa Expressway: Approximately 15 minutes from Naha IC by car (expressway) Exit at Okinawa Minami IC
From Naha Bus Terminal Approximately 1 hour by bus Stop: Nakanomachi Bus Stop System No.: 23, 27, 31, etc.
Tips
It was hard to see if there were animals in the cage.
and some paths were impassable because they were being renovated.
I wanted a signboard or something.
But I could see the lions sleeping through the glass.
It was very powerful.
I hope I can go there again after the renovation.
Also, there are too many pigeons coming to the place where we eat.
I can’t eat slowly.
