About Ramen Yokozuna
Ramen Yokozuna was born in Kyoto, founded in 1972.
Since its establishment, Yokozuna has maintained its “pork bone and soy sauce flavor”. Please enjoy the taste that has remained unchanged since its establishment.
All-you-can-add green onions
Yokozuna’s signature “All-you-can-add-leeks” service uses only domestic green onions. We use “400 tons” of green onions per year. This service is made possible with the cooperation of domestic producers, so you can use this service with peace of mind.
Secret condiment “Nington” (garlic chili pepper)
This is Yokozuna’s secret condiment made by kneading carefully selected chili peppers using a method that has been used since the days of the yatai (food stall).
The menu looks like this.
The menu is reasonably priced, with ramen based on pork bone and soy sauce starting at 600 yen. There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu, so you will never get bored no matter how many times you visit.
There are also many other limited edition items on the menu, so it is hard to decide which one to try.
On the tabletop, there are green onions that you can put in as much as you want, ramen sauce, and homemade ningtong, which increases the spiciness and flavor. Personally, I highly recommend the ninton,
This time, I ordered the standard ramen set. The ramen toppings were rather simple: green onions, pickled bamboo shoots, and chashu pork.
The soy sauce tonkotsu (pork bone marrow) based soup has a rich, yet light, drinkable flavor, which is good for late-night eating without feeling too heavy.
Limited Time Only Thick Seafood Tonkotsu Ramen
Toppings include plenty of chopped onions and
green onions, bamboo shoots, and two sheets of nori.
There is fishmeal powder on the soup.
The ramen shop is open until late at night, so it is good for a nighttime meal.
