About Wakayama Marina City
Wakayama Marina City is an island resort located on Wakayama Bay in Wakayama City, Japan, and is the most representative coastal resort in the Kansai region. Surrounded by the sea, it is conveniently located and can be reached in about 40 minutes by car or bus from Kansai International Airport.
Wakayama Marina City consists of five areas: Kuroshio Market, Europa Port, Fruit Village, Hotel, and Seaside Fishing Park, each with different facilities and functions to meet the different preferences of visitors. In the Kuroshio Market, visitors can “taste” and “buy” fresh Japanese fish and shrimp, and can also watch the wonderful tuna disintegration show; in the Europa Port, a theme park that truly recreates the appearance of the streets of France, Italy and Spain, visitors can play with their children In the Fruit Village, visitors can buy fresh fruits and vegetables produced locally in Wakayama at low prices, and can also try ice cream and rolled cakes made from milk produced by Kurosawa Farm.

Tips
There are many photo-worthy spots with recreated Southern European-style buildings, bridges, and plazas. An amusement park with various rides is also attached, perfect for couples and families. If you want to ride a lot of rides, we recommend purchasing a ride passport. There is also a fish market where you can barbecue, a produce market where many citrus fruits such as the famous Arita mandarin oranges are sold, and a super public bath across the road. It is a comprehensive leisure facility where you can play all day long.
