About Tokyo Deutsches Village
Located in Sodegaura City, Chiba Prefecture, Tokyo German Village is a theme park of flowers and greenery that boasts an area of 270,000 hectares, or about 19 times the size of Tokyo Dome.
The park, which was designed in the image of the German countryside, offers many attractions such as a Ferris wheel, flower spots where seasonal flowers bloom, and grassy plazas, as well as a playground and many other attractions. The vast park can be toured by car, making it easy for families to get around.
The winter illumination is also very popular, and the number of annual visitors has exceeded 1 million for five consecutive years since 2014! It is one of the leading tourist spots in Chiba Prefecture, supported by people of all ages, from families with children to the elderly.
How to get there
5 minutes drive from Anesaki Sodegaura IC on Tateyama Expressway
Bus or cab from Sodegaura Station on JR Uchibo Line
Take “Kapina” highway bus from Chiba Station and get off at Tokyo Deutsches Mura.
Operating hours: 9:30 – 20:00 (last admission 19:30), subject to seasonal variations
Closed: Open year-round (may be closed due to weather and other reasons)

The winter lights are wonderful and the various experiences are also very memorable for children.
We experienced candle making and bread making.
Both parents and children were very satisfied.
We were also very satisfied with the BBQ and the delicious food.
