About Tobu Zoo
Tobu Zoo opened in 1981 as a project commemorating the 80th anniversary of Tobu Railway’s founding. Within the park’s vast grounds of approximately 53 hectares, there is a zoo where rare white tigers and other popular animals are kept, and an amusement park where visitors can enjoy a wide variety of attractions, from thrilling screamers to heartwarming ones that you can ask for with your children.
In the Heartfull Garden, located in the center of the park, visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers such as roses, peaches, and hydrangeas. In addition, in summer, for a limited time only, an outdoor swimming pool with a 300-meter-long “flowing pool” and a “wave pool” with ocean-like waves is open! In winter, the entire facility is decorated with illuminations, making it a comprehensive leisure facility that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

Tips
This zoo is very large, so it was good exercise to walk around a lot.
At the zoo, there was a petting area where children could touch small animals. The giraffe and zebra exhibit area is spacious, and the animals are relaxed and peaceful. There is a rest area where you can observe the animals.
