About Tennoji Zoo
As a zoo has been built up to a hundred years, Tennoji Zoo has a long history, but the pavilion construction facilities will inevitably look a little old. I don’t know if the weather was too hot, but the number of visitors was sparse, so it was the coldest zoo I’ve ever been to.
Tennoji Zoo’s environmental design is very close to the living environment of the animals on display, clean and tidy is the most profound experience, overturning our previous inherent impression of the zoo’s dirty, odor-heavy, WC cold look thought to be a small stage, full of children’s fun, consistently clean.

Tickets:Adult ticket 500yen / Elementary and Junior high school student ticket 300yen.

How to get to Tennoji Zoo
By subway: Take the subway to Exit 1 of Zoo-mae Station and walk for about 5 minutes; take the subway to Exit 3 of Emisu-cho Station and walk for about 5 minutes; take the JR or subway to Tennoji Temple and walk for about 10 minutes.
Tennoji Zoo Tips
Go to the right hand side of the door you can see the rental car
There are three hundred and five hundred
Three hundred is the ordinary small car Five hundred is the elephant car
We rented an elephant car, it is recommended that a small car is better ,
The zoo is not very big, many venues only one animal, such as koalas
But the animals’ “cages” are designed to resemble their home environment
Giraffes, zebras, lions, at first glance it really seems like a walk in the Serengeti National Park
