About Ishigaki Yaima Village
Ishigaki Yaima Village, located on a hill overlooking Nagura Bay, a scenic spot on Ishigaki Island, is a theme park that recreates the old houses of Yaeyama against a rich natural backdrop.
The sound of sanshin (Okinawan traditional three-stringed instrument) echoes from the red-tiled houses built more than 80 years ago, which were relocated from the city.
The village also has a buffalo and squirrel monkey park, where feeding the cute little squirrel monkeys is very popular.
There is also a tour course to Nagura Ampal, which was designated as a Ramsar Convention site in November 2005, where visitors can observe rare plants and animals.

Approximately 15 minutes from Ishigaki Port. About 30 minutes from Nannujima Ishigaki Airport.

ドライブがてらにオススメです。途中の景観も素晴らしいです。 石垣島の古来からの姿を見られ、とてもいい雰囲気の施設です。 リスザルもいて、腕や背中に乗ってきます。とてもかわいいです。
石垣やいま村には初めて行きましたが、とても自然が豊かで素敵な場所でした。沖縄らしい建物もありお勧めです。
