Here’s how to book Chiikawa Bakery in Tokyo (Omotesando “Omokado”) — tips for foreigners included.

📝 Reservation / Booking Steps

  1. Use a smartphone

    • The booking/reservation ticket is electronic and must be done via phone (iOS or Android).

    • You can’t book via PC, tablets, etc.

  2. Lawson Ticket system / App

    • Booking is handled through Lawson Ticket (L-tike).

    • For certain ticket types, you get a shopping voucher with your ticket.

  3. Advance reservation

  4. Same-day / Walk-in

    • On some days, if there are free slots, same-day reservation entries may be opened. Check their official site or social media (X / Twitter).

  5. Arrival & Entry

    • Arrive 10-15 minutes before your reserved time. They’ll start lining up early. If you’re late (15 min+ after your slot), reservation may be cancelled.

    • Present your e-ticket via the Lawson Ticket app. Have your phone ready.

  6. Payment / Uses

    • If your ticket includes a voucher, you can use it to buy breads or goods at Chiikawa Bakery.

    • There are limits on number of items or stock for popular items. Some goods may sell out.


⚠️ Things to Note (For Foreigners Especially)

  • Japanese mobile phone number requirement: To get the ticket / register, you’ll often need a Japanese phone number (begins with 090/080/070).

  • No refunds / changes: After booking, date/time changes mostly aren’t allowed for personal reasons.

  • Do not use screenshots or printed copies of the electronic ticket — they likely won’t be accepted. Must use the official app/ticket.
